East Berkshire Safe Haven
East Berkshire Safe haven is an out of hours crisis support service run by Mental Health Matters (MHM) in partnership with the mental health crisis team. We opened in Slough in April 2022 and offer free mental health support to anyone aged over 18.
We are open on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening between 5pm- 11pm, with the last entry at 10:45pm.
We can be found at 54 High Street, Slough, SL1 1EL
We provide a relaxed and informal environment with refreshments. We offer time to talk, think and simply “be” in a calming environment during a crisis. Service Users will receive one to one support. Individuals accessing the service do not need to have accessed the Adult Mental Health Services prior to attending. We offer a walk-in and virtual service for anyone who is experiencing: emotional distress; mental health crisis; suicidal ideation; self-harming behaviours; general wellbeing issues; or needing to offload.
We encourage self-referrals, but we also accept professional referrals too. Should you wish to refer someone please contact us by emailing east.berkshirehaven@nhs.net or by calling us on 07790772863.
