- Other notes
As we are just off J12 of the M4, our members come from Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and north Hampshire.
We are a small, friendly club facilitated by volunteers made up from parents, guardians, carers and foster carers.
Beyond football playing and skills development, benefits to children include a wide range of social skills such as:
- how to make friends
- creating and developing attachments
- building confidence
- learning patience
- developing empathy and understanding of the needs of others
- being part of a team
- boundary and behaviour management
Parents and carers also have an opportunity for a little respite, including during school holidays :-) to catch up with others over tea and coffee and then go shopping afterwards at Sainsbury's hypermarket and the Reading Oracle!
We look forward to meeting you!
