Bracknell Forest University of the Third Age (U3A)

We are a self-help organisation open to anyone who is no longer in full-time employment. It is the third age, for people who wish to keep the brain alive and the body active by taking part in a wide variety of educational, creative and leisure activities. We currently support the following Interest Groups: - American Songbook, Architecture, Art Appreciation, Art - Mixed Media, Art - Watercolour, Ballroom and Latin Dance, Barn Dance, Blues/Rock/Jazz, Book Group, Bridge, Canasta/Rummikub, Chaps (men only), Chess, Computer Group, Computing Libre, Crafts, Current Affairs, Digital Photography, Family History, French Conversation, Gardening, German, History, Italian, Local History, London Walks, Lunch Club, MOTO (Members On Their Own), Music Appreciation (Classical), Music Appreciation (Blues/Modern), Music Makers, Needlecraft, Needlework and Crochet, Out and About, Philosophy, Poetry, Recorder, Science and Technology, Scrabble, Short Walks, Longer walks, Singing for Fun, Sketching, Spanish, Table Tennis, Times Out, Transport and a Ukulele (New Group).

We hold Open Meetings with guest speakers about every 6 weeks at The Open Learning Centre and prospective members are welcome to attend. Our motto is LEARN, LAUGH, and LIVE, so why not come along and see if it is for you. It could be a life changing experience!
