Disability Rights UK

Disability Rights UK campaign in parliament on behalf of all disabled people in areas including:

  •  Increasing opportunities in education and employment.
  • Changing attitudes to disability.
  • Independent living – getting a life.

We sell the RADAR accessible toilet key and the leading guide to benefits and rights – The Disability Rights Handbook.  These can be purchased from our online Shop.

To help disabled people understand the benefits system we have produced a number of factsheets that can be downloaded for free from our website.

www.disabilityrightsuk.orgWe are disabled people leading change, working to create a society where everyone with lived experience of disability or health conditions can participate equally as full citizens. We campaign at national level with our individual and organsational members on issues affecting disabled people. Campaign issues include: benefits, care and support, careers, education and skills. We provide consultancy and training services on disability confidence and welfare benefits to a wide range of organisations.

We also publish and sell the Disability Rights Handbook and provide information on Benefits although we are not a benefits advisory service. We publish on topics related to our campaign issues and many booklets are free to download.

We provide an telephone information service and a dedicated helpline for disabled students and for individual using self directed services.
