Reading Diabetes UK

Reading Diabetes UK, formerly known as the Reading & District Voluntary Group, is run by a dedicated team of volunteers who aim to: bring together those living with diabetes in the Reading area, as well as their carers, family and friends, to socialise and learn more abou the condition work closely with the local Clinical Commissioning Group to ensure that the voice of people living with diabetes is heard run local events to raise awareness of the condition and to raise funds for diabetes research Meetings are held monthly at St Andrews Church Hall (next to the Royal Berks in London Road) and are free to attend 7.30-9.30pm The group is run by local volunteers and is part of a network of voluntary groups around the UK supported by Diabetes UK. We are unable to offer and medical advice. However, we are here to provide support and share experiences of living with diabetes.
