The Homecare People
We provide care services for private clients in their homes to enable them to remain independent as long as is possible. This can be 24/7 Live in care or daily visits to suit the clients needs. Our services range from full personal care i.e. support with medicines, continence care, bathing, preparing meals to companionship and domestic support as well as support helping people get out into the community.We have specialist skills for helping with Dementia and other more complex needs and significant experience with End of Life Care. We also offer a nail cutting service from our trained team
We take great pride in our team who are carefully selected and mostly local people, who are trained and supported to provide care that fits and exceeds the regulatory requirements.
We recently received a CQC inspection and were rated GOOD in all key areas

Contact us for a discussion and we will schedule a visit to you to assess your situation, we are proud of the number of recommendations we receive, however our services are limited by staff availability. Finding really good staff remains the biggest problem for the care industry and locally it is even more of a problem due to Wokingham's high employment success. We are constantly working to attract and train new people to the industry, primarily we need the right attitudes and availability and pay is not an issue.
Our staff are skilled in working with elderly people with physical and cognitive difficulties. We work with clients with Dementia, Parkinson's disease, Multiple sclerosis and more. We have significant experience with end of life / palliative care. Our Live in carers have a range of skills and we select them according to client needs
