Community Learning at Bracknell Open Learning Centre
General adult learning offering opportunities to discover learning for pleasure, inspiration, health, well-being and personal development. Our programme includes computer skills, arts, crafts, healthy eating and much more. Family learning opportunities for parents and carers to discover ways to support their child’s development whilst learning new skills themselves. There are a wide range of courses that include qualifications as well as informal sessions to encourage family interaction. Work and skills A programme of courses to develop your skills for employment. Many of these are free to Jobseekers. Drop in to the Job Club at Bracknell Open Learning Centre for careers advice, job search resources and to discuss the courses available.
Improve your English conversation over a cup of tea or coffee, by chatting with other people who have English as their second language. You can just turn up and practise your English skills.
There are opportunities to progress to an English language class and gain a qualification.
Every Monday or Thursday 10am to midday (not in the school holidays).
Cost: £1 per session.
We also run an IT Open session - Fridays (not in the school holidays).
Book a time slot to practise and improve your IT skills. Self learning at your own pace alongside others, with help on hand from our tutor. Bring your own device or use our laptops and PCs. £1 per hour. FREE initial discussion about your current IT skills and information about courses to help you improve.
