InnerSense Theatre Workshops and Carer Training

InnerSense is a registered charity providing multi-sensory, immersive theatre workshops for people with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Our workshops take place in our bespoke performance studio at Ravenswood Village. Each week the studio is transformed into a different theatrical environment, filled with imaginative props and musical instruments designed to inspire the creative talents of our participants, aged between 5 - 70.

InnerSense also offers a unique training programme for carers and support staff. The purpose of the programme is to demonstrate how facilitation techniques used by InnerSense's trained and highly experienced arts and disability practitioners are transferable and can be used by carers outside of an arts environment to enrich and improve the lives of the people with whom they work.

It focuses primarily on building relationships with and understanding the needs of people with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), severe learning disabilities (SLD) and autism.
