Bracknell Parkinson's Physiotherapy Sessions

Maintaining physical fitness is considered to be an important factor in dealing with Parkinson’s. And you don’t need to be training for the next Olympics to keep fit!  We offer physiotherapy sessions provided by a trained physiotherapist, Beccy Oliver.

At 1pm we have a Stretch class with seated and optional standing exercises to maintain strength and range of movement.

At 2pm we have a Dynamic class which is higher intensity to push cardiovascular fitness, range of movement, balance and co-ordination in line with
research on the benefits of exercise and Parkinson’s

At 3pm we have a Power class which is similar to the Dynamic class but also includes some floor work on mats

The Group is split into three sessions in order to cater for the large number of attendees and differing levels of mobility and so, if you are interested in attending, please contact Beccy in advance to discuss which class would be most appropriate.

The fee to attend these sessions is £4 for members of the Bracknell & District Branch and is payable by direct debit a month in advance.
