Amin, Frederique
My name is Frédérique, or Fred for short, I am an Ofsted Registered childminder since May 2021. Before that, I have been a qualified teacher in Languages since 2011 and have been working with children from Reception to A-Level throughout my career as a teacher.
I live in Great Hollands in an extended 4-bedroom house at the end of a cul-de-sac with my husband who works from home, my two toddlers, and our cat. I am a 10 minutes’ walk from Wooden Hill Primary School and Nursery, Great Hollands Primary School, St Margaret Clitheroe School and The Pines Primary School, and within walking distance of a wide range of parks and green areas. I love to spend time outdoors. We have a small enclosed back garden with a large decking area and a small grassy area with a climbing frame. Our front garden grows flowers, fruit and vegetables, and is equipped with a mud kitchen and a secure pond to allow for plenty of learning opportunities.
We are blessed to have a range of languages in our house. I studied 11 of them and can speak four of them fluently. I strongly believe that the younger a child is exposed to languages, the better it is. I have a wide range of multilingual resources available to the children.
